Love-Hate Relationship

See that big tree? It's actually in my neighbor's yard, not mine. But see what it does to my yard?

I love the tree in summer because it shades my deck but I hate it when the leaves start to fall! No raking today because of 50 mph wind gusts. If I'm lucky maybe it'll blow all the leaves away.

That's frustrating, Krista! Perhaps you need to get yourself a leafblower for Christmas. :)
YOu can blow the leaves right back over to their side of the yard.

holy crap can I relate! I live in the moutains where there is nothing but TREES! However, I don't have any large trees on my property - just planted a few tiny ones this year. Well, the ACORNS and leaves that fall in our yard from the dozens of trees that surround our property line is enough to make you want to hire a professional every year in the fall... Hmmm... maybe I really WILL this time!!!

We have 90 KM/Hour winds today. The leaves are everywhere! Inside and out!

Ugh...I can totally relate. I LOVE autumn, except for raking. I usually spend all of Thanksgiving weekend raking and bagging leaves...not fun!

That's just not right. I recently discovered the leaf blower, which I believe was intended for just this reason. However, we don't have leaves but it does a heck of a job on dirt! I blow crap out of my garage and into my neighbors yard with no second thoughts. Give it a try, it's fun!

I agree, get the leaf blower out for now then wait till all the leaves fall before raking!
