My sister, Carla, sent this to me today. It's too funny not to share. This is the fairy tale that should have been read to us when we were little.
Once upon a time in a land far away, a beautiful, independent, self-assured princess happened upon a frog as she sat contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an unpolluted pond in a verdant meadow near her castle.
The frog hopped into the princess' lap and said: " Elegant Lady, I was once a handsome prince, until an evil witch cast a spell upon me. One kiss from you, however, and I will turn back into the dapper, young prince that I am and then, my sweet, we can marry and set up housekeeping in your castle with my mother, where you can prepare my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children, and forever feel grateful and happy doing so."
That night, as the princess dined sumptuously on lightly sauteed frog legs seasoned in a white wine and onion cream sauce, she chuckled and thought to herself "I don't freakin' think so!"

AMEN TO THAT, SISTER!!!!
That's my kind of princess!
LOVE IT!!!
Great stuff! You must get your hands on "Free to Be You and Me" from Marlo Thomas and Friends. It is wonderful for little girls to listen to and speaks to all of the politically incorrect drivel we feed ourselves.
oh I think I'm gonna print this off to read to Ava one day!
"shovelin' fool" took the words right outta my mouth "Amen to that!"
Krista, tell Cathy and Joel that both my girls grew up with "Free To Be You and Me", that's why you are both YOURSELVES!!!
Check out the kid's book "Princess Smartypants" by Babette Cole. I think you'd appreciate it!
I can relate to that kind of fairytale for sure!
That is GREAT! Thanks for the laugh!
Too funny!!!
Thanks for the laugh

Awwww c'mon "anonymous"... don't be a chickenshit. If you feel that way, be man enough ...or "frog" enough to sign your name to it.
Not a blogspot regular. I'd have to sign up to do that!
I second that!!!

Anon clearly suffers from Broken X Syndrome (ie the faulty Y chromosome). Seems he can't figure out to sign his name but can type you a comment saying he can't? Puhlease. So swift.
Too cute!!!
