Favorite Foto Friday

Here's the second annual Christmas penguin pajamas pic. Notice the matching pj's. I lucked into finding these. Especially the adult/kid match. Unfortunately, there were none small enough for Teagan so he got to stand out on his own. I think I might make this our little tradition. It'll be fun to see the way the kids change over the years. I just hope I'll always be able to find us penguin pj's. LOL!

For those of you not familiar with these gorgeous children, they belong to my sister. From the left is Tanner (9), Teagan (21 mths), Tatum (4) and Travis (6). You can view their adventures over at my sister's blog The Tales of the T's. Griffey is in the background there. He wanted in the pic also but was not very cooperative with sitting still. Check out last year. They all look pretty much the same but just a little taller. Except Teagan, he's losing his baby deliciousness and starting to look like a little boy now.
Speaking of changes.... here's the proof of what will happen if you spend a year EATING YOUR WAY THROUGH THE STRESS of deciding to adopt, finding a single's spot, paperchasing, Rumor Queen, lack of referrals, the unknown timeline, wait times lengthening and then the big final hurrah of new regulations from the CCAA which declare that I'm not fit to parent a second daughter from China and the worry that they might change their mind and decide that about the first one, too. Oh and sprinkle on a bit of getting over the broken heart left by the guy I thought was the "One" who left because he wasn't ready to "settle down" but who's now engaged and expecting his first child. Yeah, at least 10 lbs belong to him.... maybe 15. Guess you all figured out what my new year's resolution is. Gotta go dust off the treadmill. :)

Love the second annual penguinpalooza!

We'll probably both do better if we glue photos of said formers on the bottoms of our running shoes. Hmmm...not a bad idea ;0)

WTF - I'm gnawing on 'pirouettes' at 430 in the morning. That's gotta stop.

Great PJs - Great photos! You are truly the Queen of the Penguins! Everytime I see a penguin thing in the shops, I think... Ooo! Krista! Pity you don't live closer (even the same country would be closer!) you'd be gettin lots of Penguin'arama!
Aaahhh, Luvy, don't you go worrying about the CCAA not givin you Mia. Coz they are. And I wouldn't go worrying about Mia's sibbling, coz that's a way off yet, and things change.
:) Happy New Year!
Here's to cuddling our babies in 2007!

What great pics friend! Love the matching jammies!

I'll be stepping on that work-out gizzmo with you...then pausing to catch my breath after the effort of finding it under dust and clothes!

3 more....2 more....1 more

Ohhhh...if only we were counting down the months to our precious babies rather than nasty stretches and jumps!

Happy New Year Krista! Looking forward to seeing you again in 2007.

What a cute group! I'm with you on the weight thing...I have to lose at least 15 pounds this year - or I won't be allowed to go to the pool with Emma this summer!

First, that picture is great! Your niece and nephews are really cute. Second, I totally understand about the stress-associated weight gain. I'm joining WW Online today! Third, shame on "the one" for doing that to you. I"m so sorry. ((hugs))

Great pictures! Thanks for posting last years too!!

I know what you mean about the weight gain - some people handle stress by exercising more - I am NOT one of those people...

Right there with you on the stress eating, dusty treadmill, and losing the weight. I am right at the wire on the BMI requirement and B surpassed it this year when he quit smoking. So not good!

B and I are joining WW Tuesday. We have 2 more days of indulgence and then we are on the big diet. We're in this challenge with you, friend.

We'll all be so fit and beautiful in 2008 when we're in China! LOL

Great pictures! What a great aunt you are!
Just finished my homestudy update...the physical update part *quantified* exactly how much weight this paperpregnancy has brought on. YIKES!!! Now that I've recovered from the shock, I'm *almost* thankful I have so much time to take it off...or so I'm telling myself! Svelte Mamas to China may be a new yahoo group in the making!

I'm with you on the weight loss thing. Someone in my DTC group has started a blog to record our progress - we're walking the Great Wall of China - or the attempting the equivalent length anyway. I thought it was a very appropriate goal!
