My cousin, Alicia George, who lives in Washington, DC. The very first square to come in from someone who actually shares my bloodline. That's right... my cousin... who lives in another state.... who I see maybe once every few years. She wins! (Alicia beat my sister, my mom, everybody else. Did I already mention that I come from a long line of procrastinators? Oh yeah.. I did.) Alicia is also a single-mom-by-choice-thru-adoption to her son, Roger. Families are like that, I think. My family is waiting for a little while since we are so early in the process and my mom wants to find just the right fabric, so I guess I can cut them some slack. Alicia sure did send a pretty square!
