It's that time again. A new season of AI starts tonight. I love the first few episodes of auditions. When they showcase all the really awful singers. Especially the crazy ones. It's hilarous to watch them go off. Yeah... it doesn't take much to entertain me.
Let's hope we don't have another Sanjaya season. Did I even spell his name right? He seems to have already exhausted his 15 minutes of fame. Poor kid.
So for the next few months my DVR will be set to record every episode. Ahhh...life is good!

Oh Yeah! I am so psyched about AI. I have heard that it's going to be a little nicer in the auditions, focus more on the "human" aspect of the finalists, and less of the rock star mentoring. Although I think they need to let Jon Bon Jovi be a permanent staple on the show - ROWR!
I think I am more excited than usual because, dude, this writer's strike is really bringing me down. The only positive about it, is that I am getting more sleep.
Da-aamn! Poor Sanjaya...who are we going to laugh at now? Come on, we all did...admit it. ;)
I saw some previews for it and some chick went ape in the audition and started going cah-razy on Simon and screaming 'What does he know?! He's not American, he's just some dude from France!' Mmm hmm...
I can't wait! I only watch the first part, with the bad singers, and all the audtions....after that, I lose interest. :-)
Oh yeah this is a family event! Hubby is coming home early from work to make sure he is not stuck in traffic! LOL
This writters strike has really taken a toll on us!
Soon also will be Big Brother. I am such a reality junkie!
PS, you did spell his name right!
can't wait!!!!!!!!!
I am SO going to be there!
I have mine set...
I love REALITY T.V.
I am a junkie...LOL
Well shite. You should have told me b4 I missed 1/2 of it. I'll be sure to set the DVR from here on out though. My favorite part is watching all the really sucky singers sing. Love it.
I've been watching it but it gets TiVo'd to if I can't watch it.
I love getting a good laugh at the beginning of the auditions. I can't believe that some of these people actually think they're good singers!
Yeah baby!!! Love it. Love it. Love it!
Keep smilin!
Sanjaya = death by hair.
His voice was nice. Kinda like Stevie Wonder. Poor kid.
I am ALL ABOUT this show. I'm practicing some rare Delayed Gratification by recording tonight and tomorrow night's AI episodes and then watching them together tomorrow -- woo hoo!!
The auditions are the best! The really bad ones, who think they actually DO have talent, crack me up the most!!!
Whatever makes you happy, K. My drug of choice is my three seasons of the Office on dvd. Thank God for that!!
I'm with DSue, btw, this writers strike is really a bummer.
OK.. what did you think of "glitter" girl last night.. LOL
And how about the song writter stalker guy.?? Wierd!
Hmmmm....yes, I DO recall your little infatuation with Chris last season!
Wonder who it will be this season????
Hey, was it just me or were you slightly disappointed that the first show wasn't more of a "freak fest"???
DH and I watched it last night and will watch it again tonight! We love it (tried to get our DD to audition - no luck). It really is one of the best TV shows!

Wasn't it hilarious? A co-worker of my husband's made it to Hollywood. I was totally surprised to see her on the show.
Crap! I forgot to watch it.... I'll have to see if there are some clips on youtube.
Ps. Happy 19th to you too!
Oh bloody hell I missed it, and it's the try outs that are the best!
