Heat Wave

According to the weatherman, most of the Midwest and East Coast is suffering from some hell hot temperatures this week. I guess it's payback for those wonderful 75 degree, no humidity days last week. And let me just tell you...this sucks! I'm not a fan of 90+ weather. Not at all.

I waited until dark to water my flowerbeds thinking it might be a little cooler. Uhmm... not so much. I lasted until the sweat began running down my back and then gave up. Instead I retreated back into the AC and cracked open a Smirnoff-Ice... with emphasis on the "ice" part. Hopefully, this will help. Don't expect to see me outside until this weekend when supposedly the spell breaks and we return to normal.

So how's the weather where you are?

Actually this week has been a little cooler..
we are only in the low 100's..
the few weeks before that is was like 115 or higher..
I could sure use a smirnoff-ice..
When I go to the store going to pick up the new berry kind..
Have a great week..
Hugs..

We have hit triple digits this week....UGH!! I liked that 75-80 Degree weather we were having last week much better. You can't even walk outside for more than 5 minutes at a time. The heat just smacks you in the face.

enjoy those smirnoffs........that sounds great right now!!

Y'all will laugh at our puny heat wave, but we are in the upper 80's and setting records. Of course, the heat and sun didn't come until Monday. We had a very cool and wet 4th. But since I worked 15.5 hrs, I'm glad it was cool.
