The Penguins Pimped My Ride!

Remember the cool gifts I mentioned? The first one came in the mail from my sweet bloggy friend, Colleen. Some of you may be aware that I have a fondness for penguins. Okay maybe obsession is the right word....whatever. Anyway, check out this awesome license plate frame she sent. Need a closer look? I tried to put it on the rear plate but it covered my expiration sticker (which is il-leg-al) so I had to opt for the front instead. Yes, that is my real license plate. You believe me dontcha? Thanks Colleen! You're just the sweetest and I absolutely love it!!
Next came some belated birthday gifts from my lil brother's girlfriend, Kristy, and her son, Braeden. Look what she found! Penguin car accessories!! I didn't even know these existed. She got me the CD visor and the steeering wheel cover. Of course, I had to then run out and get the floor mats, the litter bag and the seatbelt cover thingy so that my ride was pimped out properly.
That's Who Dey sitting on the dashboard. He's the Cincinnati Bengals mascot for those of you who are not aware. And no I don't normally drive with the ice scraper on the dash. I must've stuck it up there when I put the floor mats in. Since the weather has gone Arctic again here I've had to use it lately. Just love Ohio weather. I was informed by my mother that I had the floormats in upside down. Oh... oops. They're fixed now. And the seatbelt thingy was driving me crazy so I wrapped it around my emergency brake instead. Looks pretty cool there. (Hey Johnny... the wife is going to be so jealous when you show her this. She may require you to pimp out the new minivan penguin-style! LOL!)
Kristy wasn't done though. She also got me this stuff. A cute little bin with a chalkboard on the front, a penguin board book for Mia, and a little scrapbook penguin. She even tried to make the card look like a penguin. That's so freakin' cute!
She thanked me for welcoming her and Braeden into the family. Awwww......
But this has to be the coolest gift EVAH! Check it out. I finally broke down and bought my hot pink I-Pod (which I *l-o-v-e* BTW). This is a penguin speaker that hooks up to your I-Pod. He dances, moves his wings, makes crazy squawking noises (do live penguins do this?) and lights up in response to the music. Seriously... I mean who thinks this stuff up?!
Here I caught him in the middle of his booty shakin' just to show you. (I really need to figure out the video feature of my digital camera and learn how to upload that to the blog. Sorry I'm just not very technologically inclined.) Booty shakin' penguin is going to the office to live on my desk and annoy my co-workers. (Insert evil grin here.)
I love all of the gifts! Thanks so much for thinking of me, Kristy. And it was my pleasure to welcome you into the family. My bro loves you and he's happy. What more could a sister ask for? Just for you to love him back and treat him well, which it certainly seems you do. So thanks for that, too.
