Two skeletons, a cheerleader, a scarecrow, a vampire and one tired little froggy who hadn't had a nap.
The night was made even more fun with Braeden joining us this year. My brother and Kristy split off a little early to head back to the house cuz he was tired of walking. We were in my sister's neighborhood so they didn't know the way. They asked her how to get back home. Braeden piped up out of nowhere that they should "follow the yellow brick road". Guess he took his costume very seriously and was fully in character. It was pretty damn funny!
Right about 8pm as we were nearing the T's house, I looked up and saw a shooting star fall from the sky. I quickly made a wish. Let's just say my wish involved next Halloween and who I take trick-or-treating. ;)

What super cute kids!!! I so hope your wish comes true next year. I have been wishing for you probably more than anyone else that this stupid and very long wait hurries up.

When you wish upon a star...
Since I've just bought my first home, I feel like this year is my trial year to test everything out in preparation of my daughter's homecoming.
I can really empathize with you, though, going out with a group of kids and not one of them your own...
Yet.
Here's to next year!
Great costumes on your group! Too funny about the yellow brick road! Here's to your shooting star wish coming true! =)
Wishing you wish comes true!!!
