I'm a true believer in the power of positive thinking and prayers. So please send some out to
Maryellen and Hannah as they continue to search for Jazzie. She escaped from the yard a few days ago. They're doing everything within their power to look for her but still no luck.
I can't stop thinking about them. After
losing my beloved Griffey for three days last fall, I understand how devasted they feel right now. Especially Hannah. Jazzie was her dog. And when I visited them last month, I saw just how much this little girl loves her furbaby.
My heart goes out to you, Hannah. I wish I could be there to give you a big hug and to pound the pavement with you. Don't lose hope that she'll come home.
The following is from a newspaper article doctored up just a bit to remove her last name:
"Eleven-year-old Hannah saved the money she was given when she received her first Holy Communion in the second grade. This past December, the youngster invested her savings in a schnauzer she named Jazzie, and the two became fast friends. Hannah paid to take the dog to puppy school at PetSmart. She house broke the pup and until Tuesday when the dog went missing, Hannah slept with Jazzie every night."
Maybe if enough people wish and pray hard enough Jazzie will find her way home.
