But not anymore, baby. I've found my freedom! I can be anywhere in my house...ANYWHERE... and still be plugged in to the world wide web. In fact, I can be outside my house, too. Right at this very moment, I'm typing on my front porch while enjoying the gorgeous 75 degree-0 humidity summer evening. On.My.Front.Porch! Do you have any idea how happy that makes me?
Okay... I realize this is old news to most of you who have enjoyed laptop ownership for years and years. But this is all new to me. I'm like a little baby just discovering the world for the very first time. And so far.... I freakin' LOVE it!!!!!

Yay!! I just got mine a year ago - and was able to write it off as a business expense b/c of my etsy shop! How cool is that?? I LOVE my laptop - you can use it while you are sitting in your cozy bed drinking coffee before work - like I am right now!!!!! Haha!
I'm with you...I just got my laptop in April & I luv the freedom...it even comes camping with me!

I am so glad for you! Though a bit sad for myself as I am the last blogger in the known universe without a laptop. Sigh.
Wheee!! Next little temptation? A netbook! Just bought one and it's great to travel with and when home to leave in the kitchen for looking up recipes, checking email and so much more!

I giggled when I read this post and the commments. I was just as excited when I got my first wireless laptop. And, like Donna, I even take it camping. Hey, it lights up the inside of the tent at least as well as any lantern I have!
